Developing your website from the ground up
What follows is a guide to the process we will take you through. The nature of your project will determine much of our approach, but this is a good overview of what to expect.
The first questions
From the beginning, we want to establish a basic foundation for your website that will serve as a guide throughout the process.
- Who is the end user?
- What is the purpose from the user's point of view?
- What is the purpose from your company's viewpoint?
- What can we learn from your competition and how can it be done better?
- How will your current advertising fit in with the new website?
- Will you need to manage content on your end?
- Who will be responsible for the development of content?
Off and running
The scope of the project will determine much of this portion of the process. Larger sites may require initial design approval while others my be less formal. It depends on your project, but make no mistake, you will be delivered a professional result regardless. During the development stage, you can expect:
- Constant communication
- Edits based on critiques, both positive and negative (not that anyone would disagree with our work, right?)
- Progress updates
- Timely requests for needed materials and information to keep your project moving forward
Finishing touches
As we wrap up the project, we'll begin to get the site ready for launch. The site will get submitted for indexing in the search engines, analytics will be added, all your required usernames and passwords will be established, email accounts will be created and anything else that is demanded by the nature of the project will be set. We are efficient and thorough in getting everything ready.
The beginning
Others may call this the end. We call it the beginning. Once your site is launched, it truly is a beginning of new opportunities that up to this point, did not exist.
