Nimaha Web Design and Development is the freelancing effort of Nick Haselwander in collaboration with other developers and designers as needed.

But let’s ditch the third person voice shall we?

I was first introduced to page layout in high school (1996-99) editing for the school paper. I dabbled with some design and development in college but didn’t really start getting involved until 2006.

Since then, I’ve spent about every day learning something new and have found a true passion in life. This is the pursuit of a career doing something I truly want and get joy from every single day. The only problem when you really love something is finding a way to stop yourself from time to time. 24 hour work days tends to be a bit much, after all.

For those times I can tear away from a computer, I enjoy golfing. I only wish I had the time and money to play about 36 holes a day. I’ve also been known to love a good hike and have a bit of a sports obsession following the Oregon Ducks and Portland TrailBlazers with a religious fervor. I’d be remiss to leave out my soon-to-be wife who has a patience and understanding beyond description for this venture. I put in a lot of hours at my desk working and learning and couldn’t grow this business without her.

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Portland, OR and eventually graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Business Administration. Though I now live in San Diego, Oregon is still home and I take every chance I get to visit.
